Nexion’s CoNexion 2016 Officially Kicks Off in Sunny San Diego
10th Annual CoNexion conference brings together independent travel professionals, supplier partners, leading industry experts and Nexion staff for four days of workshops, roundtables, networking and more.
San Diego, CA (September 14, 2016) —Today, Nexion®, the travel industry’s premier host travel agency, officially kicked off its 10th Annual CoNexionconference at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego, California, through September 17. Approximately 400 travel agents and another 200 industry experts are registered and will be “Building Bridges” – in keeping with CoNexion’s theme – to new sales opportunities, new industry relationships and new tools to increase business efficiencies. CoNexion 2016 will feature 49 educational workshops, an extensive supplier partner trade show, supplier roundtables, and endless networking opportunities, as well as opportunities to hear from keynote speakers Tara Russell, President of Fathom and Global Impact Lead, Carnival Corporation & plc, and Stuart Cohen, solopreneur, business coach, and author.

CoNexion 2016 will feature a keynote address from Tara Russell, who will help Nexion agents “Discover and Unleash Your Super Powers” by sharing her story about the transformative potential of “traveling deeply” with a challenge to use gifts, talents, abilities and purpose for good. A second keynote address will be delivered by Stuart Cohen, whose Bridge of 1,000 Journeys will explain how to build an amazing and everlasting “signature bridge” to elevate success and happiness. In addition, there will be several industry panel discussions, as well as one comprised of top Travel Leaders Group executives.
CoNexion attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a multitude of workshops offered by Nexion staff and supplier partners. There will be seven tracks of specially-designed supplier roundtable discussions, as well as seven rounds of workshops.
